Why are some anonymous players able to type in chat??

#7, so you have a chance to answer here? Do you use it to defend your position? You have to be silent from now on. Because another players can chat, and you cannot.
Ah, thanks MateMachine. So they forgot to disable Anonymous chat of Android app. It makes sense now.

If any of you lichess devs or Thibault is reading this: please fix it. Thanks.
#12 As I explained, there was not a desire to disable anonymous chat and nothing is broken; it's simply that the open-facing nature of the internet requires a higher barrier to entry (say, a Turing test) for PCs than for mobile devices in order to defeat spam.
#4 #11

OP posted a question why chat is possible for some anonymous players but not for other anonymous players. I think it's a good question if it's true.

With your posts, Chesstroll_Berserk, you just live up to your nick. :D
@blackzombie, you are obviously not very clever, and you don't read carefully what I am writing. I say exactly the same what OP did. I said that THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION. My replies were to the player named Dearprudence, who wrote that OP is just whining about anonymous, who insulted them. You do not make any sense. Your nick evidently corresponds with your words. You just answer like a zombie, without thinking. I tell one more time: "I think it's a good question if it's true" — this was exactly my point. I don't understand how you can be so blind and ignorant.
Ok Sorry! Personally I wouldn't waste one word to reply to posts like #3 at all. Therefore I missed it.

I don't think the person behind #3 will read one single word of your replies.

Agree with Zanbasse...in the interest of fairness, chat should be disabled for all anonymous users, regardless of platform.
i play often as anonimous, and i would like to chat to. The principal problem about anonimous players is that they quit the game anytime and to often for nothing. Sorry for my english i m french first. thank you
