When starting a game anonymously using the Android App there is no side to choose. The web app permits it however.
Once in a while I enjoy playing anonymous 2+1 games with black or white only.
The App got updated today - it supports the pools now, hurray. Keep it up!
The issue with anonymous games however has kinda changed. I can choose a side now, but the request doesn't seem to make it through.
To be sure I opened an anonymous web session in my browser to see anonymous game requests (why can't I see anonymous requests when logged in anyway? Or do I miss something) and then issued an anonymous 2+1 request on my Android phone - it never showed up in the web session and I never got paired.
I have a pretty reliable internet connection with a low ping so I doubt it is a connection issue on my part.
I can issue a pooled request anonymously BTW, which was surprising because I though those pools are supposed to be rated-only. I got paired on an unrated game, always against non-anonymous opponents.
