Yes. Save saves unconditionally. Autosave saves only when there are changes in the blog data and the blog is in draft mode. If you set the blog to be published, the autosave will be disabled.

Well, it's implemented in LiChess Tools. You have to enable it. By default you get a Save button that saves the blog but lets you keep working on it.
