I've noticed the servers are very slow lately. This is quite troublesome as it takes sooooo long to move. I'm a very technical computer science undergrad and I recently heard in lecture that computers have this thing called "virtual memory" which can improve performance. My professor said that because hard drives have lots of space but ram doesn't, that it's best to simply download more ram onto your hard disk. If you want further speedups it's a little-known fact that you can use "quantum computing" to see your opponents' moves before they are played! However be careful not to do this from the mobile app or you may experience time dilation which drains the battery faster than normal.
