Creating Chess Comic Series, Need a Name!

My ideas will never be as cool as the ones from a native but at least it's a start haha.

Zugzwang is a great name but it would really narrow the audience I think by making people say "what the hell is that?" I like something simple like "pawned" (which looks like pwned) You could even stylize it so that the p and the a sort of link together so it looks more like pwned. lol

I think I'm also leaning towards something like pawned or pawnage because I want it to be easily recognized even by people who don't know that much about chess.

Fenris1066: Thank you for the idea of stylizing the the P and A! Honestly I hadn't thought about trying to play with the fonts to help push the idea. I really love the idea and will probably use it.

Status update: First comic strip is completely inked :D Will probably ink at least three more before going on to the digitalizing stage :D

If your main character's a wimp, the opposite of hardcore pawn would surely be soft pawn. ;)

Oooh neat idea with the stylizing thing. You could do it like an edit mark in red pen.
