If you did it you can't change that and I'm sorry you had to go through a scratching problem. If you want to it's your cat not mine. But a claw is their best hunting and self defense tool. If you must you can, this is only an opinion. For scratching problems try citrus. Cats don't like that. Try water. Remember to give your cat a scratching post. Again, I am not hating on you if you did. Rather this influences you or not, I am dearly sorry for your cat's scratching problem. But think twice before you declaw.
